Auslan Building Words Set

Transform the way your child learns to spell and recognise words with our Building Words Auslan Alphabet Tokens and Standard Tokens set! This educational tool combines the Auslan alphabet with standard letters, allowing children to build words in a fun, interactive manner using a 10 frame set.

What’s Included:
- 10 Frame Set: A wooden frame designed to hold tokens, making it easy for children to visualise and organise their letters as they build words.
- Auslan Alphabet Tokens: 3 x set of tokens representing each letter of the Auslan alphabet. Children can use these tokens to fingerspell words while learning the corresponding Auslan signs.
- Standard Letter Tokens: 3 x set of lower case standard letters, allowing children to build words using traditional spelling alongside Auslan.

How to Use:
1. Choose a word to build, such as "happy." Start by placing the first five tokens in the 10 frame using the Auslan alphabet tokens to represent each letter.
2. Next, use the second set of five tokens with standard letters to spell the same word in traditional English.
3. Encourage children to practice fingerspelling the Auslan letters as they build the word, reinforcing their understanding of both the Auslan alphabet and standard spelling.

This Building Words set is perfect for home and classroom use, providing a hands-on approach to learning that fosters creativity, language development, and fine motor skills. It encourages children to make connections between Auslan and standard written language, enhancing their literacy skills in a fun and engaging way.
